The Game Is Changing & Getting Faster. Your Athletes Should Too.
Speed no longer separates athletes - it’s the cost of competing.
Every athlete needs speed, but only a few are taught how to develop it correctly. At CMJ Performance & Sport Science, Coach Johnson delivers intentional, science-driven speed training designed to improve acceleration, change of direction, max velocity, strength, and overall movement efficiency.
Train with purpose. Move with confidence. Perform when it matters.

SPEED SESSION PACKAGES
Each package includes a specific training focus and applies to Speed Training, Change of Direction, Reactivity, Plyometric, Mobility, and Stability.
FIRST-TIMER EVALUATION CLASS (One-Time Class): Designed for new athletes, this one-time class allows Coach Johnson to assess movement quality, speed mechanics, and training readiness. Athletes receive a clear recommendation for the most appropriate training focus and package moving forward.
This class is intended for evaluation and placement only and is not a recurring training option.
FOUNDATION PACKAGE (1x/week): Designed for beginners learning proper sprint and movement mechanics. Choose one session per week: acceleration, max velocity or strength + plyometrics.
PERFORMANCE PACK (2x/week): Build acceleration, max velocity, and plyometrics each week to improve on-field performance faster. *RECOMMENDED
COMPETITIVE PACK (3x/week): Increase training frequency with an additional day focused on acceleration, deceleration, max speed, or strength + plyometrics. Ideal for athletes ready to take the next step.
Coach Johnson also offers first timer sessions for added flexibility and private 1-on-1 training for athletes seeking fully customized coaching.
All sessions are subject to a 5.5% credit card and management platform fee at checkout.

Developing Speed
Training and developing speed can largely depend on the requirements of the sport, and training speed is often misunderstood. Have you seen an individual who can run fast in a straight line but lacks the ability to use that speed in other movements on the court or field? Linear speed sports, such as track, require acceleration and the ability to maintain top-end speed. On the other hand, sports such as soccer, basketball, and football require a combination of speed and a multitude of skills to deliver on-field performance.

Clinics
NO SCHOOL TRACK START CLINIC
January 19, 2026
Join us for a one-day Track Start Camp focused on developing first-step quickness and efficient acceleration out of the blocks. Athletes will learn how to produce force quickly, apply proper sprint and start angles, and build the technical foundation needed for strong, confident starts.
This camp is designed to sharpen block-start mechanics, improve early acceleration, and help athletes better understand how speed is developed-so they can train with purpose beyond the session.
ALL GIRLS CLINIC

February 14, 2026
In honor of National Women’s & Girls in Sports Day, CMJ Performance & Sport Science is hosting a Girls Performance Clinic. An all-girls space intentionally built to uplift, empower, and support female athletes.
From movement to mindset, from confidence to connection, this clinic is about more than training. It’s about creating an environment where girls can learn, grow, and be surrounded by strong, positive role models who believe in their potential-on and off the field.
I’m honored and excited to create a space that’s bigger than the sport itself. Because when girls feel supported, seen, and challenged in the right way, they don’t just play the game-they grow into strong, confident athletes and leaders.
